There is no greater popularity contest than the People's Choice Awards. Anyone could for months to vote for his or her favorite actor, actress, singer, etc. At the ceremony last night The Twilight Saga revealed: Eclipse to be the big winner. The film won four awards.
The show was as usual live broadcast by CBS and could count on a whole host of familiar faces from the American show business. the make room Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner came personally to take the awards. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won in the categories of best film, best drama, best actress and best cast. Other winners were Toy Story 3, Grown Ups, and Iron Man 2. In music classes especially rapper Eminem did well. House and lead actor Hugh Laurie fell again in the flavor on the small screen.
Unlike most awards that are handed out around the make room this time, the People's Choice Awards is not an immediate measure of value for the Golden Globes or Academy Awards. Below are the winners back in the film and television categories.
